The Bight gets a brand

The iconic Great Australian Bight is home to the "Head of Bight" visitors centre. Famous as a whale breeding ground for Southern Right Whales. The "Head of Bight" visitors centre needed to establish itself as a brand.

The "Head of Bight" visitors centre commissioned Wallstudios to design and develop a website (soon to be launched) to help promote itself as a tourism destination. Once we started to discuss the project it soon became apparent that the first step was to establish a brand identity that could be used for all aspects of publicity for the centre.
We worked closely with the Head of Bight team to uncover the history and culture that is intrinsic to the area and in the process can up with a brand that was true to their vision for the centre as a cultural and environmental tourism destination.

Wallstudios Creative and Managing Director, Matthew Wall formed Wallstudios in partnership with wife Michelle Wall in Adelaide in 2002. With over 15 years experience in Graphic design, Web Design / Development and Commercial Photography.

Matthew was born in Adelaide, Australia in 1971. He studied commercial photography and design in Montreal Canada before moving back to his home town of Adelaide.
